A Traditional Jazz Organ Trio for Untraditional Times
Kiran Gupta Cage Free is a jazz organ trio consisting of Kiran Gupta on Hammond organ, Jake Patterson on guitar, and Daniel Cox on drums. This Nashville-based band has gained a reputation of creating a fusion of styles and sounds that blend the old with the new – taking on old-school jazz and blues, with new age soul and rock. They have performed extensively in Nashville, including venues such as The Back Corner, Rudy’s Jazz Room, and The Local. They were selected by the Nashville Blues and Roots Alliance to perform a special showcase at 3rd and Lindsley in The Fall 2019, and performed as special guests during the Haunted History Tours on Halloween night at the Ryman Auditorium the same year. They recorded their first studio album entitled “Happy Thoughts on Cloudy Days” which was released May of 2021.

Kiran Gupta Cage Free is a jazz organ trio that specializes in Mind Body Soul Jazz. Through their music they hope to inspire listeners to think a little, move a little, and to feel everything.
